SliQ Invoicing - Latest Features

In its latest release SliQ Invoicing adds two major new features.

Client/ Server Mode

From version 6.1, SliQ Invoicing allows multiple users to raise invoices simultaneously. Invoices are stored in a company file held in a SQL Server database. The invoicing company file can be created via SliQ using a customer's own SQL Server installation or using Microsoft's free SQL Server Express platform. With Microsoft's SQL Express the maximum company size is 10GB meaning that realistically 10s or 100s of thousands of invoices can be raised via multiple instances of SliQ Invoicing running on one or more client PCs.

VAT MTD Submission

The UK HMRC's Making Tax Digital interface is supported, allowing UK customers to submit VAT returns directly from SliQ. SliQ automatically queries the HMRC servers to find out customer VAT obligations then lists and totals invoices within the appropriate obligation period. User's can choose to exclude invoices from submission or to include invoices from earlier periods that were not previously accounted for. Options are provided for both cash and invoice accounting.

Existing Features

As well as the new features above, SliQ Invoicing still includes the easy to use invoicing abilities from earlier versions as well as the ability to raise quotes, convert quotes to invoices and customise invoice templates. With no monthly limit on the number of invoices you can raise or the number of customer records that can be kept for invoicing purposes, SliQ provides a great small business invoicing solution.
