BVTech Plasmid(1) 5.0

BVTech Plasmid is DNA sequence analysis and plasmid drawing software for Windows PCs.You can use it to plan your DNA cloning, draw high quality plasmid maps, analyse your DNA sequencing data, align sequences, convert sequence formats among EMBL, GeneBank, FASTA, IG, and PLAIN with options of upper/lower case, reverse compliment, and view both .ab1 and .scf chromat file formats and edit the sequence based on peaks and the aligned sequence. You can label the plasmid with genes and restriction sites in different colors, text, and styles. BVTech Plasmid provides many drawing objects, includs lines, arrows, rectangles, circles, and text boxes. Drawing objects can be used for general annotation or to add extra labels to a map.

The new version allows to view both .ab1 and .scf chromat file formats and edit the sequence based on peaks and the aligned sequence. You can translate the whole plasmid sequence or the sequence of a feature. The software can calculate Tm, MW, and GC% for a selected feature.
