Partition Manager displays your current hard disks and partitions layout so you can easily change the partition structure with help of 1-2-3-step wizards. Prepare a new hard disk for OS installation, resize your system partition, change partition parameters or perform professional hard disk defragmentation for improved system performance. Even the most complicated partitioning tasks will be accomplished fast and easily.
Main features:
- create and format partitions. Create individual partitions for your OSes, valuable data, media library, backup files etc.
- resize partitions. Expand an entire system or specific partitions, using your hard disk's free space or by shrinking other partitions.
- merge partitions. Merge data from two adjacent partitions to consolidate disk space, resulting in a single, larger partition.
- delete or undelete partition. Delete partitions and use the resulting disk space to create new partitions.
- copy partition or hard disk. Copy your entire hard drive or individual partitions to a new drive for making backup copies or when upgrading to a new hard drive.
- change partition parameters. Hide/unhide partitions, convert file systems without destroying data (e.g. FAT to NTFS), change cluster size, change partition ID, etc.
- defragmenter. Increase your system's performance and minimize mechanical wear on the disk drive.
- boot manager. Run several OSes on your computer and switch between them easily at boot time.
- powerful recovery media. Use all the features of Partition Manager even when your system becomes unbootable.
