Big audio collections are not easy to sort. If you have a significant number of sound files, you are likely to store them more or less in order. Otherwise it becomes hardly possible to know what is inside those music folders.

mp3Tag Pro is a capable MP3 tag editor with powerful functions and user-friendly interface. It can automatically generate missing ID3 data (title, artist, album, year, genre, comments etc.) from parts of filenames and subfolder names. If MP3 file information is not available at all (for example, your records have filenames like track01.mp3 and no MP3 tags), MP3 tag processor can fetch ID3 tags from internet services, like Amazon and FreeDB. You can export existing audio tags for future reference and import ID3 tags from a database with the help of a text file.

MP3 tag tool will also let you quickly order your audio files by making new subfolders and moving sound files into them using the scheme that you specify. Imagine that you have a random structure of nested folders in your folder for songs. Provided the files are correctly tagged, you can create a new structure in just a few clicks and sort thousands of files at once. Using data from MP3 tags, mp3Tag Pro will make subfolders for every genre, artist, album, and so on, depending on your choice. Songs will be sorted into the corresponding subfolders.

The program can also fetch lyrics and cover art for any selected group of songs. The downloaded lyrics and pictures can be saved in MP3 tags inside the music files, or as separate files.

MP3 Tag Editor Pro understands ID3 tags in MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, FLAC, APE, WV, M4A, AAC, MPC files. All audio files are tagged in the same way and don't need to be separated. You may edit all supported formats at once.
